Fort Kent police charge Hamlin woman with OUI

FORT KENT, Maine — While on patrol just before midnight on Friday, July 7, Officer Michael DeLena of the Fort Kent Police Department reported seeing a vehicle being driven erratically on East Main Street.

DeLena conducted a traffic stop and then arrested Lisa Deschaines, 52, of Hamlin, charging her with operating under the influence and operating beyond license restrictions. Deschaines will appear Monday, Sept. 1 at Fort Kent District Court.
