Elizabeth McNally presented with a citizenship award

Wallagrass & Soldier Pond Revitalization Committee treasurer Peter Jandreau presented Elizabeth McNally with a citizenship award on Sunday, July 2, during the community’s annual PondFest celebration.

The committee recognized McNally’s contributions to the beautification and development efforts which have taken place in the past several years. In addition to serving until recently as the committee’s president, McNally was a key player in the community’s PondFest, public boat launch, street lights and scenic lookout projects. “It’s such a precious moment for me,” McNally said in receiving the award. McNally and her husband Joe, who have six children moved to the area 27 years ago. She manages the Four Season Inn in Soldier Pond, is a real estate broker, and with her husband runs New Bethel Ministries on Sly Brook Road.
