SJV Weather for Wednesday, July 5, to Tuesday, July 11, 2017

High pressure will control the Valley’s weather Wednesday and Thursday, bringing mostly clear skies to the region. Low pressure in Canada will move east and bring a chance for showers and thunderstorms to the area later Thursday through Friday. A stronger area of low pressure will lift from the Great Lakes into Quebec Friday into Saturday with another round of showers and thunderstorms for the Valley. Skies become partly cloudy Sunday as a ridge of high pressure builds across the region. A cold front and another low from the Great Lakes moving through southern New England bring a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region Monday into Tuesday with high pressure building in midweek.
