Pet of the week (week of June 28, 2017)

PAWS ANIMAL Welfare Shelter presents Herbie as the Pet of the Week. Herbie is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and is ready for a nice home.

He is an older cat that just would like some peace and quiet and someone to love him. Herbie does have a thyroid condition that is common in older cats. It is easily controlled by daily medication. He is in good health aside from the thyroid condition. He loves to hang out in the window seat in the shelter. Please consider either adopting Herbie or fostering him so that he can enjoy a good retirement. He has earned one after fending for himself on the streets of Fort Kent for some time. To see him, visit Valley Cat Haven during open hours Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or call Jean at 543-7348 for an appointment.
