Christian recovery center could be the solution

FORT KENT, Maine — Teen Challenge Maine, a Christian recovery center from Winthrop, will be at the Fort Kent Assembly of God Church on Sunday, June 11, at 10:30 a.m.

The choir will sing and former addicts will share personal stories who daily celebrate their freedom and change.

Teen Challenge officials said when a person is struggling with addiction, they are usually feeling lost.  A powerful connection in Christ helps light the way.  Through faith, students at a Teen Challenge Center are able to find themselves and God.  A stronger sense of self and faith instills a strong will and a stronger will is a powerful tool in the battle against addiction.  Teen Challenge USA wants to help begin the healing process.

Over the past 50 years thousands of former addicts have been helped by Teen Challenge and are proof that God’s love impacts lives and change is possible.
