SJV Weather for Monday, May 22 to Monday, May 30, 2017

Monday featured cloudy skies and brought a chance for showers in the evening across the Valley as an occluded front approaches and crosses the region early Tuesday.

High pressure centered in the Mid-Atlantic will bring partly cloudy skies Tuesday afternoon. However, a stalled frontal boundary just northwest of the region will produce partly sunny skies by early Wednesday. Low pressure will moving northeast from the Middle Atlantic region will bring mostly cloudy skies Thursday with increasing chances for rain by Friday afternoon and evening. Rain tapers to showers across the Valley Saturday morning with partly sunny skies giving way to partly cloudy conditions that continue into Sunday morning as high pressure builds across the region. Clouds increase later Sunday as a front moves east from the Great Lakes region.
