SJV Weather for Monday, April 24 to Sunday, April 30, 2017

High pressure to the northwest in Canada will bring mostly clear and cool conditions to the Valley Monday into Tuesday. Clouds move in Tuesday evening with increasing chances for rain overnight as low pressure near the Great Lakes lifts into Canada drawing a warm front across the region.  Additional moisture from a low pressure moving up the East Coast keeps rain across New England Wednesday and Thursday. Low pressure near James Bay in Canada slides east pulling a cold front across the region Friday into Saturday.

Rainfall totals for the period Wednesday to Saturday will around one-half to three-quarters an inch with higher amounts in southern Aroostook. High pressure finally builds in with partly cloudy skies expected for Sunday.
