Missing Fort Fairfield teen safe
FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — Police found a Fort Fairfield 16-year-old who went missing over the first weekend in March is safe in Bangor, according to the Fort Fairfield Police Department.
The town police issued a call for the public to help locate Jasmine Goodblood on Sunday morning.
Goodblood’s father, Gary, reported her missing and said he thought she had taken a bus to greater Bangor to meet her 19-year-old boyfriend Jacob Richardson, according to Fort Fairfield police officer Ryan Eagles. Eagles said the older Goodblood was concerned about her wellbeing and financial means.
Multiple police agencies issued a call to the public seeking help locating Goodblood, and on Monday, she turned herself over to a family member living in Bangor, Eagles said.
