Fort Kent wrestlers finish 18th

FORT KENT, Maine — Fort Kent Community High School sophomore wrestler Jordan Labbe has advanced to the state wrestling Class B championships after finishing third in the 182-pound weight class at the North regionals on Saturday, Feb. 11, at Caribou High School.

Labbe finished the day 4-1 and will compete at Bucksport High School on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the state championships.

The Warriors team, who competed in varsity wrestling for the first time in five years after the program had folded, finished 18th out of 22 schools competing with 18 total team points. Foxcroft Academy took home the team championship, amassing 127.5 points on the day.
