Robert P. Ouellette (1942-2016)

BEDFORD, Mass. — Robert P. Ouellette, 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Edith Norse Rogers VA Hospital in Bedford, Mass. He was born in Madawaska, on July 30, 1942, son of the late Claude J. and Winifred Ouellette. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Ghislaine (Lee) Ouellette and a son, Robert Jr.

“Bob” was a heavily decorated veteran of the US Army, serving in the Vietnam War as part of the First Battalion, Seventh Calvary regiment at the Battle of la Drang. He worked more than 30 years at Nashua Corp. until retirement.

He is survived by his second wife, Caroline, of Madawaska, his son, Brian and wife, Jannel; two granddaughters, Avery and Taryn of New Boston, NH; a siste, Della Levesque, and her husband, Eldon of Phoenix, AZ, as well as two brothers, Philip and his wife, Martine, of Cromwell, Conn., and Francis and his wife, Mary of Plainville, Conn., along with many nieces and nephews. Bob greatly cherished his family and his relationships with his brothers in arms.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, December 20th at 10 a.m. at St. John XXIIII Parish in St. John the Evangelist Church, 27 Library St., Hudson, NH.

Family and friends met at the church.

Interment will be held in St. Patrick Cemetery, Hudson.
