Facility board thanks Frenchville for 35 years of service

FRENCHVILLE, Maine — The board of directors for the Valley Recycling Facility presented the Town of Frenchville with a plaque commemorating 35 years of administrative and financial services to the Valley Recycling Facility and former Northern Aroostook Regional Incinerator Facility (NARIF) organization.

The facility handles the disposal of solid waste for the four owner communities of Madawaska, Frenchville, St. Agatha and Fort Kent. The Town of Madawaska began providing the administrative and financial services for the Valley Recycling Facility on July 1.
