MSAD 24 directors announce July 27 meeting

VAN BUREN, Maine — The Board of Directors for Maine School Administrative District No. 24 will hold a regular school board meeting at 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 27 in the school’s ATM room. The agenda is as follows:

1. Roll call.

2. Approval of minutes.

a. To see if the board will approve the minutes of the regular school board meeting of July 13, 2016.

3. Persons desiring to address the board.

a. Debra Cyr, president of the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce.

4. Reports of the chairman.

5. New business.

a. To see if the board will approve the MSAD No. 24 / RSU No. 88 PEPG Evaluation System Plan.

b. To see if the board will approve the first reading of the Booster Group guidelines.

c. To see if the board will approve the first reading of the Employee Computer and Internet Use Policy and Rules.

d. To see if the board will approve the first reading of the Tobacco Use and Possession Policy.

e. To see if the board will approve the first reading of the School Wellness Policy.

f. To see if the board will approve the 2016-17 board committee assignments as presented by the chair.

g. To see if the board will approve the superintendent’s nomination for girls middle school soccer coach.
