Kornerstone rocks fans at Madawaska’s Bicentennial Park

MADAWASKA, Maine – Just days before the holiday weekend, Madawaska hosted its third concert in the Music in Park series, Thursday, June 30.

Local band, Kornerstone, took to Bicentennial Park’s gazebo stage at 6 p.m. and played a rowdy set of rock, country and alternative music for the large crowd gathered under a setting sun.

Kornerstone consists of Adam Ouellette, Jon Ecker, Randy Cyr, Wayne Coltart and Pat Gendreau.

Concessions at the park Thursday evening included hamburgers, ice cream and a bake sale fundraiser. The large grassy area around the stage was nearly covered with music fans on chairs and blankets.
